CSO Committee
The CSO Committee comprises a Chair, Treasure and Secretary (as a minimum) who are Trustees of the orchestra, along with other committee roles including a Lead for Marketing, the Orchestra Manager, the Orchestra Leader, Chair of Programming and, as an invited guest, the Principal Conductor.

The Trustees have a direct responsibility to ensure the CSO operates within rules, regulations and responsibilities of being a registered charity.

The Committee acts on behalf of the members and is accountable to them, ensuring that the orchestra is well-managed in terms of musical programmes, finances and the well-being of the orchestra as a whole. It sets the direction for the orchestra, takes key decisions and deals with issues as they arise in the best interests of the orchestra.

It also oversees the administration of the AGM and the CSO Constitution.

Committee members are always available to members if there are ideas or concerns, either by email or in person at rehearsals.
